Born into a low income Mexican American home, Fred M. Abaroa watched a lot of television. He loved commercials and imagined what impact they had on the public and their buying habits. Now many years later Fred has fufilled his dreams through his work with Ziff-Davis, Pepsi, ABC News, Philips Lighting, General Mills, Nabisco, the States Of Maine, Georgia, Minnesota, Michigan, California and Wisconsin, Disney, Yahoo, Yamaha, Hilton Hotels, Oakhurst, Hannaford, Kraft Foods, Lego, and many other companies. Fred presently is the Marketing Imagineer for WK Enterprises creating market strategies for local businesses in Maine, including Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill. Fred was awarded a patent in 1999 for "Web browser detection & default page home page modification" and has been a key contributer for two EXPLOR awards. Fred achieved an Expert Level certificate in Micro Expression by Dr Paul Ekman. I, I mean, Fred is a shameless promoter and has been recruited by many non-profits, including Easter Seals, Boy Scouts of America, and the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens to be on their marketing committees.
