Boundless Potential
Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 5:23PM Last October at PopTech I met a man, Benjamin Zander who spoke about the human potential. He pointed out that we have boundless potential but our attitudes stop us from exploring it. He pointed out when we make mistakes our body tightens up and we look down. He suggest next time lift up your arms and say how fascinating. Why you ask? This is the attitude we need to pull ourselves beyond the bounds our attitude allows us. When you have this attitude that your potential is boundless you spend less time trying to reach for the stars and more time living among the stars. This attitude has helped me in more ways than I could ever imagine. But when my potential is contrained by an attitude of boundries, my success is impeded. Fred,
Thank you for this post. I love Zander's thinking and have given copies of his book "The Art of Possibility" to several people. A true mentor...
